Enjoy this video. It’s a bit janky, no pretense here. I made it myself a while ago, to help communicate a point. You can watch and learn, but here’s a thought to keep in mind: If Style is subjective, and therefore personal, then STYLE in all caps - meaning great style - can only be achieved when your style clearly matches who you are. Not a flat one dimensional version of who you are but the full 3-d imaging of it. And understanding who you are takes time, it’s a process of living, thinking, trying. It requires exertion. If you possess curiosity, intellect and empathy then you will be able to unpack the life you’ve lived, your actions, and distill them to words. Adjectives. Descriptors that you can you use to guide what you buy, wear and how you combine elements on your body - at first extrinsically - it may initially feel tedious running through a checklist in your mind. But then you feel your body relax into an ease and contentment. You’ll become familiar with this sensation and crave it every time you get dressed. And you’ll find that it will start to feel innate. As if it was with you the whole time. As if you were born with it.
