Love this! And it’s so true. I could not figure out what I wanted to wear this morning. I was working in the store, then picking up the boys at various things and a meeting this evening. I could change but really didn’t want to, I wanted something to carry me thru the day feeling really good. I ended up in a blazer and matching pant. It’s been like protective armor all day, feeling confident with a great smile.
So relatable. Professional attire can make us look like a professional even if we are grappling internally with what that means. I also agree that buying good quality pieces doesn’t mean we have to go broke and I too have a vintage Ralph Lauren blazer that has served me well.
Great post! I admire and appreciate the relationships, respect and care you have with each other at Tibi.
From a senior recruiter: yes, yes, yes!
Dressing to impress ( and relevantly) never goes out of style!
Fab post! Totally agree. This morning I had a job interview from my kitchen over Zoom, and still wore a blazer. It gets you into the right mindset!
